Move to Calm is a 2-day online training designed to equip yoga teachers, educators, and caregivers with practical, evidence-based tools to support children’s emotional well-being through yoga, breathwork, mindfulness, and behavior strategies.

Participants will explore foundational philosophy, child-specific anatomy, teaching methodology, and technical practices for sharing yoga and mindfulness with children in both home and classroom environments. No prior yoga or mindfulness experience needed — this workshop welcomes all levels!

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Confidently lead simple yoga and mindfulness exercises for children ages 3–12
  • Understand how emotional development impacts movement, breath, and behavior
  • Integrate yoga-based tools to support emotional regulation and classroom/home harmony
  • Apply ethical and developmentally appropriate practices when working with children
  • Duration: Two 4-hour sessions, including interactive activities, breakout discussions, guided practices, and Q&A.
