Course Overview

Mindful Warriors empowers children and teens with practical skills to improve their posture, coordination, physical health, and mental health. Each term builds progressively on the last, combining yoga-based movement, breath-work, teamwork games, and mindfulness practices. Students leave each class feeling stronger, calmer, and more confident.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

    A: The Mindful Warriors Program is a year-long, in-person journey designed to support children and teens through yoga movement, breath work, meditation, and mindfulness. Each term builds on the last, helping students develop self-awareness, emotional regulation, strength, and resilience—on and off the mat.

    A: The program is delivered in three separate 10-week terms, each with one in-person class per week:

    • Term 1: Warrior 1 – Foundation – introducing core tools and practices
    • Term 2: Warrior 2 – Developing – building confidence and deepening skills
    • Term 3: Warrior 3 – Progressing – fostering independence, focus, and emotional strength

    While it’s recommended to complete the full program for the best experience, parents are welcome to enroll children in Term 1 only and decide later if they’d like to continue with Terms 2 and 3.

    A: There are two age groups, each with tailored content and teaching style:

    • Children aged 6 to 11
    • Teens aged 12 to 16

    Classes are age-specific to ensure developmentally appropriate practices and a supportive peer environment.

    A: No experience is needed. The program is designed for both beginners and returning students, with Term 1 laying a strong foundation for all.

    A: Students will:

    • Learn to move their bodies with awareness and care
    • Use breath to calm the nervous system and manage stress
    • Build focus, confidence, and resilience
    • Develop healthy coping tools and emotional literacy
    • Cultivate a greater sense of connection with themselves and others

    A: Classes take place in person at Hub of Consciousness. The space is designed to be calm, welcoming, and supportive for all students.

    A: All classes are taught in person by me, Faten Badreddine, a trained and experienced educator in yoga and mindfulness for children and teens.

    A: Consistent attendance is encouraged, but we understand that life happens. If your child needs to miss a session, just let us know — we’ll provide an overview of what was covered and any resources to help them stay connected.

    A: Yes! Students will receive simple resources, printable tools, and at-home practices (optional) to help reinforce what’s being learned in class.

    A: Yes. The program can be adapted for different learning styles and needs, and we welcome open communication to ensure every child feels supported and safe.
