YOGA FOR BEGINNERS

HATHA YOGA

Hatha is a branch of yoga, Hatha means “Powerful.” This does not only relate to the power that comes from the physical activity, but it is a practice for the body and the mind, connected through the breath. Since “Ha” means the sun and “tha” means the moon, Hatha yoga is known as the yoga of balance.

In our beginners course, we focus on building flexibility and strength through different sequences with the use of props and modifications to tailor the class to the needs of the students. Everybody is different and unique in their own way.
