ABOUT

Generation Yogis

Generation Yogis specializes in providing yoga and mindfulness education to children and teenagers. We strongly believe that practicing Yoga can be an effective means of promoting and enhancing the overall well-being of our younger generation.

In order to improve our students’ physical, mental, and emotional well-being, we follow a scientific approach to the yoga practice that places a strong emphasis on mindfulness. We offer classes, workshops, and courses in yoga and mindfulness for individuals of all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults. Check and book class here. And because we want yoga to be accessible to all, we’ve created the “I Breathe. I Move. I Feel.” card deck to help bring yoga to you, which can be purchased online at our Yoga Cards shop very soon. OUR STORY

Kids Yoga & Mindfulness

I have always been deeply passionate about education, reading, and research. I have always been fascinated by the process of growth in both our bodies and minds. During the pandemic, I gained a new perspective on the impact of trauma, stress, and anxiety. I realized that these issues can affect not only adults but also children and teenagers. Generation Yogis was created out of my desire to accomplish more and be a part of something bigger.

I have had the privilege of guiding my own children through the practice of yoga, as well as studying under exceptional teachers and obtaining multiple certificates. I have utilized the various techniques and tools I learned to aid the children and teenagers in my life in discovering their own path through the practice.

I’m the founder of Generation Yogis; my name is Faten Badreddine. I am a yoga instructor, mother to two sons, and former advertising professional. I lead all of our programs as a certified RYT 200, RPYT, and RCYT. I am also trained in Yin yoga and trauma-informed yoga for children.

OUR MISSION & VISION

At Generation Yogis, we aim to bring together individuals who share a common interest in effecting change, and provide them with the tools, strategies, and resources that I have personally developed and tried, to enhance the social, emotional, mental, and physical health of young people.

I am dedicated to introducing yoga and mindfulness to the community in order to cultivate a generation of resilient children who will become the changers of tomorrow.

I have observed positive outcomes and ongoing benefits of yoga and mindfulness for my students.

The aim of our programs is to provide children and teenagers with the tools to enhance their well-being through the practice of yoga and mindfulness.

Our goal is to make yoga and mindfulness practices inclusive for all individuals, regardless of their abilities, backgrounds or body shapes.

BENEFITS & OUTCOMES

Why Practice Yoga?

The practice of Yoga, derived from the Sanskrit term “Union,” is a scientifically grounded physical and mental discipline that traces its roots back to India more than four thousand years ago. There are numerous institutions and a wide range of yoga schools available. Individuals have the option to adopt and wholeheartedly embrace a practice based on their own intuition and sense of what is appropriate. The practice of yoga is accessible to everyone, regardless of their religious or ideological beliefs. It is inclusive and does not discriminate based on age, gender, or body shape

Anyone who can breathe can practice Yoga!
