TEENS & TWEENS YOGA

Teenagers are faced with many challenges as they enter the adolescence phase. The pressure of family, friends, and school leave them overwhelmed with all the new feelings and sensations they experience in their bodies and minds. We tend to sometimes blame them for their actions. Instead, if we are to put the blame somewhere, we need to blame their brain because it is the function of the brain that is making them behave in a certain way. Understanding the development of the teenager’s brain helps us and them understand certain behaviors. Learning Yoga helps the teenager’s brain develop positive routes to behaviors.

The goal of the classes is to teach teens how to use yoga tools to support their own physical, social-emotional, and mental health and well-being. Through our classes, we offer adolescents long-life habits to support them in their everyday life.
